Brain Man VR teaming up with Northeastern University
Excited to announce that BrainMan VR has been invited to lend our expertise in neuroscience and immersive technologies to a Northeastern University (St Katherine’s Dock campus) / UCL scientific study of VR meditation.
We will be investigating how Virtual Reality might be used to boost some of the well-known, stress-relieving impacts of mindfulness meditation.
So not only is Brain Man VR revolutionising maths learning with an EdTech solution that integrates VR and AI with neuroscience to make learning fun, but we’ll soon be generating new data for publication in a science journal to push mankind’s knowledge forwards, just that little bit more.

User Testing on 0.1 Complete
During summer 2024 we tested version 0.1 of Pizza Maths VR with 30 learners. These 10-14 year olds were stress testing our proof of concept version of the game, giving us invaluable feedback that we used to plan what we needed to do to make version 0.2 even better. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the students who participated, at Latymer Upper School, others in their homes and in particular those who jumped on a train into central London for testing at Digital Catapult.
VR Mindfulness Meditation
BrainManVR will soon be contributing to a scientific study of mindfulness mediation in virtual reality in collaboration with Northeastern University and University College London.

PRESENCE: the not-so-secret sauce of VR
PRESENCE has a very particular meaning in virtual reality. It describes the feeling of being completely immersed within the VR environment alongside other people. This combination of ‘place’ and ‘plausibility’ illusions makes social interactions in VR feel so very real.
